>>>Computers come in little grey boxes, let's get over it. does it really matter if it's shiny or not? It's a computer, it's a tool. So don't be a tool and realize that computers are not works of art, they're for processing information, not entertaining simpletons with too much money.<<<

By this logic, we should live in grey concrete buildings with no effort of design. After all, we can work in buildings with basic function right? Why bother designing cars to look good, they just need to get us from A to B. Good design isn't just about "entertaining simpletons". A person can get by without a personality, but they're boring and few people would enjoy their company. Same goes for little grey tools.

So I'm part of the cult, let's get that right out of the way. And I do appreciate press on my beloved Mac, especially positive press. But you wouldn't buy one?

I suppose it would be absolutely useless to explain that a Mac compared component for component to a PC is either price matched or in MANY CASES a mac is even cheaper. And what of the user experience you crowed on about? What about the fact that more work can be executed on a mac without the worry of dreadful worms and the like? Doesn't productivity figure into your accounting? Your poetic prose seems pointless in hindsight.

would it kill you to make a buy reccomendation? You have to PRAY Apple lives forever or the innovation that finds its way to your bland beige boxes will cease and you will truly regret your antipathy. Keep us around or suffer the breaks.

And last but not least, don't be so cheap when it comes to buying your GF an engagement ring.
