So far it blocked 3,600 spam emails out of 5,700 emails it checked. This is an email account that i cannot simply stop using, although i have others. Unfortunately my previous company decided to post it once on their corp website, which resulted in the spam-suffering i'm facing till today.<br /> <br /> At any rate, the application is working fine with outlook 2002, the nice thing about it is that it checks the email against an online database, that is updated by the company as well as the client itself. I think it also caches some of the database on pc the client is running on (not sure).<br /> <br /> It does have some misses, like passing some spam messages as legit email, or vice versa (mostly newsletters), but accuracy is pretty much high. I'll use 2 for forums I'm involved in, 4 for sites that won't let you in or allow you to download something without providing a email address, 4 for personal &amp; 2 spares.<br /> <br /> What I do is keep a log of where &amp; when I use each account, now if I start getting spam on any of them I'll just delete it &amp; create a new email address, that's where the log comes in, now I know if I need to contact anyone with my new address.<br /> <br /> Creating several Hotmail accounts works great for this also, just don't log back in &amp; 30 days later that accounts gone, let the spammers spam it all they want. I only have 1 Hotmail account now but had about 8 going at one time.<br /> <br /> The spammers worst nightmare is getting those little undeliverable email notifications, it can really slow up there systems &amp; waste there time.
