Abit ST6 Raid

I have been having some problems with the onboard RAID with ST6, and
i want to know if anyone els is having the same problems.
What i have been getting are windows registry errors and lockups in games, ONLY when i use the raid connections, when i use the main IDE controlers the system works fine.
I have updated the bios with the latest and am using 2 maxtor ata100 20 gig drives, with an intel 1gig processor and 512 megs of ram.
I have run a full analisys over this board using QT pro diagnostic tools and have not discoverd any unusual faults, even when i use just a single drive by itself on the raid, I still get the same errors no matter what OS i use, and i have tried win98 and win-XP both with similar errors.
I have tried using raid 0 and raid1 with no results, as far as im am concerned, this mother board is abit of a lemon!
