You need a new heat sink like the one in this link
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?DEPA=1&sumit...archdepa=1
and you need the Thermal Grease spread between
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-1...amp;depa=1

While I could find no information on the beep codes...

the problem turned out to be an improperly set heatsink on top of the CPU! I had it turned 180 Degrees around from where it needed to be,,,, and if I was paying attention I would have noticed the ridge on one side of the heatsink that conformed to the top ridge of the CPU!!

Thanks,
Does your Shuttle motherboard manual say anything about the beep codes? Try there or on their website. That siren is telling you what the problem is. The usual problems are; RAM or video card not seated properly. Processor fan not plugged into the motherboard. Or just bad RAM. Try one stick at a time and in different slots.
I too am having this problem with the following setup...

Athlon 2400+ XP processor with 2x256MB PC2700 Memory Modules
Hook everything together and power it on and all you get is a 2-3 second run before it powers off and starts beeping at you (A police car siren going do do - do do is more precise).

There is also a little LED that comes on too

I have tried the CPU Frequency jumper in all 3 possible settings (100/133/166)
and each time it comes up the same.

ANY SETTING HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Thanks,
