Here is the drivers for Windows 98-Me-2000-XP:

Look under the cam to see if it is a Namtai or Logitech version, and use the appropriate driver.
If you ever have installed a driver before, this is all you need...

Works like a charm!

I found the most useful drivers at http://eyetoy.co.nr they come on windows and the mac and linux versions are being devoloped. They are absolutly free and unlike others come with an InstallShield type installer making them extremely easy to install, three differerent video capture programs and email and forum support

EDIT:It also comes with microphone support or you can use the generic windows USB mic drivers

I had the driver for the eyetoy awhile back (worked good) Using windows XP Pro Service Pack 2. I had a harddrive crash couple months ago.....I tried my old drivers and they wouldn't work (something about file 39-and maybe corrupt) I downloaded NEW drivers from tjworld.net and didn't work. Downloaded from http://members.driverguide.com and it also didn't work (corrupt or missing file filters) Any Help ???

I have got it working on win xp home(it should also work on xp pro.)
--- note: make sure you uninstall all other drivers that you have goofed off with first

Here is my modified driver:
http://mattmark.com/dsbc310_winxp2k98se_driver_110.zip

1. Unzip the files
2. Plug in the eyetoy, then point the install hardware to the directory where you unzipped the files.
3. After you get it to install it will come up with a 50hz thing just click ok.
4. In the same filefolder go to the: AMCAP.EXE Once you are there make sure the right devices are selected! (under the devices menu)
5. Finally go to options and make sure the preview menu item is checked.

That should be it! e-mail me: eagle@mattmark.com

I've put together a set of drivers for both models of EyeToy in one package together with instructions on installing, and it doesn't require the user to edit the INF files or identify their camera model.

http://tjworld.net/help/kb/0008_Eyetoy.html

Summary

This is a totally automatic Windows Me/2000/XP/2003 driver package for Playstation 2 EyeToy Web-cam models SLEH-00030 and SLEH-00031. No user intervention or editing of driver INF files is required. Windows reports the correct camera model number in Device Manager, and the microphone audio driver is installed too.

For those of you having problems getting the drivers to work and are familiar with editing the registry, I found the fix...

Okay, do a search in the registry for the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}

If that 6BDD..etc key does NOT exist, just simply create it under "Class" as noted above.

Once that is done, you need to create (or there should be) two strings: (well, three if you count (Default) )

1st string
Name: Class
Value Data : "Image"

2nd string
Name: Link
Value Data : "Image"

And that should be it. You should now see it in the device manager under "Image". Hope this works for you.
