Thanks, i have the pc6 model and at the moment i am puting the cable together to enable it, the thing with the pc6 is that it has only one DV-connection, so i was worried that if DV-in is enabled that DV-out would not work.. as you can tell i never worked with a camera with DV-in so i am ingnorant on the subject

Cheers

Hmm....
...you can't enable every sony cam - depends on the model !!!

On some models even you can enable Analog-IN

DV-OUT is working as before, but if you connect Analog and i.Link together - by default i.Link is working as DV-IN and Analog is working as Output (realtime converting, e.g. to TV), but there should be a menu item (depending on the model), which allows to give Analog-IN priority (then i.Link works as DV-OUT - e.g. converting from a VCR)

If you can't enable Analog-IN, then DV-OUT will work as before

Thanks !!
so only once and it is permanent, this does not affect the DV-out i guess?
You have to enable DV-IN once, if you make it permanent

You need WinDOS (9x) or DOS to use freeware - there is only commercional SW, which is running on WinNT/2000/XP...
