I, for one, am more of the latter than the former. Therefore while I splurge on Klipsch speakers, a Creative Zen Xtra 40 GB mp3 player, a Creative Audigy 2 NX card, and Sony MDR-V600 studio quality headphones, I am quite happy with a simple 4:3 CRT as my TV. This is despite the fact that my some of my friends have plasma and HDTV sets. It's just more important for me to have great audio than it is for me to actually see what I'm watching, lol.
