Any printers bought with the name "HP" on them. They have all been unvariably pieces of crap.

Any soundcards or modems from Creative - have been unreliable and poor quality.

Aopen Desktop computers deserve a mention here aswell - awful build quality.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Briefly, brands worthy of praise include Samsung and Lite-On.

Biggest pieces of s**t I ever had:

AMD K6 500 mhz with 64 ram, windows me and via based mobo. Piece of s**t sucked so much that it would freeze even you tried to play nfs3.

FX5200 given by a friend... Even worse, its a PCI card. It sucks so much that I think playing with the onboard video is faster.

Compaq Presario something which belongs to my mom. God this computer sucks s**t bad. p4 2.4 processor without ht, 256 of 2100 ram and 80 hdd at 5600. Just a big waste of $1200. Only good thing it has is the flat 17'' monitor. Thats all.

Now about desktop manufacturers being s**t, that is completely not true. My VAIO has been with me for 3 years now and its just awesome. I never had any problems. I bought my 9800pro too and no problems at all. Just plugged it in, threw the 5200 away and began gaming.

I did not buy any of this crap except laptop. I seen people wore saying that HP desktop or Dell desktop is good then Sony or vice versa. People this is ALL crap!!!
All desktop manufactures are crap. The difference is only how nice looking computer case this company has and nothing else. The quality you have depends on what inside not the look outside. I can buy Computer for as little as 399.00 with is Crap. Or I can buy computer with almost same CPU speed for $1500.00. With in fact you can have real computer or real typewrite.
But anyway this is just me. But I hate when people say that Sony desktop computer is better then HP or something like that. All of them are one big pile of crap. That it.
