NEC VERSA NOTE VXI PIII650 CPU Upgrade

Dear All,

I have an NEC VERSA VXI PIII650 notebook with 256MB RAM and a latest BIOS version 154A2600. It runs Windows XP Pro perfectly though a little bit slow. So I intend to upgrade it to a higher speed CPU. The most ideal one is PIII1GHz. But the answer is negative from NEC Hong Kong and Sander Sassen's artical, whose notebook is NEC Versa vxi PIII750. In this case, what will be the maximum PIII speed I can update? Can anybody give me a suggestion?
PROCESSOR SPCS: sSpec# CoreVoltage (V) ThermalDesignPower(W) ThermalSpec Bus/Core Ratio
My present CPU SL442 1.60/1.35 21.5W 100C 6.5
PIII1GHz SL5TF 1.70/1.35 34W 92C 10

Thank you
