        <description>I expect the ATI cards will have the same performance then the 6800 ultra, but the image quality will be better. so i would wait for the ATI x800 Pro and get that.</description>

        <description>I think that both the Nvidia and Ati cards take up two slots.  Granted the Nvidia cards are bulkier.  But Ati 9800xt's heatsink and fan sits next to a pci slot too.  If you put a PCI card next the 9800xt there would be no circulation.  I really don't think the Pci slot next to the apg port can be used on either card.&lt;br /&gt;

I like both companys.  I always put the fastest video cards in the computers I build.  We will soon find out which card is faster the 6800 or the x800.  I personally am not an image quality person I want frame rates.  When you are playing a game do you really look at little details?  But I would like a card that will run fast at 1600X1200  with all features enabled.  Tomorrow is the deciding day 'cuse ATI is showing off there new VPU.&lt;br /&gt;
