A lot of you may already know this, but I only found it out by accident..

Did you know you can have the 'quick start' menu as a seperate tool bar along the top of the screen?

All you do is click on the quick start tab (looks like two rows of indented dots) and drag it to the top of the screen. You can then right click it and choose "Always on Top" which is pretty usefull.

I'm sure alot of pepole know this, but I bet a lot didn't. Might be usefull to someone.

i use an encrypter for my porn, anyone know how to crack those things? i cant even begin to count how many times i've lost the password so now i have about 5 gigs of porn lying around that i cant look at

My desktop on my work PC is like a temp folder . evrything that I am working on can be found on there. from pictures to documents to zip files etc. You name it and it's on my desktop

Airman - You shouldn't put your porn folder on the desktop you GF might find it when she checks her e-mail. Porn should be hidden in a sub-sub-sub-sub directory and called something like 'car pictures'. She'll never find it there.

Yuck! Eliza Dushku! Ha ha just kidding. Yah my desktop background changes all the time. Bands, AMD stuff, computer jokes, babes, cars, et cetera. Babes never stay up long thanks to how uncomfortble it can make me feel around my parents. At least they can't monitor my laptop's background!

I have a three folders on my desktop called Apps, Docs and Games. I just dump any desktop icons in those; I�m sure you can guess what goes in where

I have my taskbar two rows high, with about 20 icons in the quicklaunch bar for stuff like Word, Excel and Opera, etc plus a few commonly used documents like my organiser and bank account spreadsheet.

Aside from that, my desktop is clear except for a rather nice picture of Eliza Dushku at the moment

I have gotten used to my Quick Launch bar for most of my apps, I just keep My Docs. Recycle Bin, My Network Places, My Computer and IE shortcuts on my desktop. And yes I have a killer background always, whether its from deviantart.com or the 9800 Pro Gargoyle one
