I can't believe Everest didn't know the name either. OK PC Chips makes only one 810 series mobo that has 4 memory slots, the M810DG But it doesn't have the same chipset. This is why I hate ECS. Does your mobo actually say M810L written on the actual board? The 810L is the only 810 with the SIS730 chipset, but it only has one memory slot. Oh by the way, your CPU is burning up.Better turn this system off quick.

How many slots for memory does your board have? And is ita mini ATX form or regular? And what you are talking about for raising the V Core is a pin mod where you use an ultra fine wire to short out 2 of the CPUs pins before putting it in the mobo socket. You don't even want to go there. One mistake and you can kiss the WHOLE system goodbye. Sergio I want you to go to http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en and download Everest home edition. Start up the program and click on motherboard and lets see what it IDs your mobo model as.

Ok Sergio in your first post you said it was an 810L. The 810L doesn't support Athlons. Go to this link and look

http://www.pcchips.com.tw/PCCWeb/Products/ProdMBModel.aspx?Cat...mp;LanID=0

There are 4 different 810 series boards. Some support Athlon, some don't Now go to the first link and download the users manual for the 810L. It should be exactly the same as yours. Go to page 5 and read the specs for the 810L. Something is wrong. Open your case and see what the mobo is labeled as. Then look for the version number. If it's labeled the same as the ECS boards, it will be tiny writing on the very corner closest to the PCI slots. It will say v.9.0a or v.7.5c or somethink. Find the version number and post back.

Payton.... I have the manual in my hands... on the cover appears: "PC266 systemboard" logo in red, white, black. "Socket A... M810 series USER'S MANUAL".
Inside i can find... "This mainboard has a Socket-462 processor socket for an AMD K7 type CPUs. You can install any one of these processors on the mainboard." the next page says "Supports AMD Athlon XP/Athlon/Duron processors" "Supports 200/266 Mhz Front-Side Bus"

Could you please tell me... I really have the wrong mobo.. if that so.. which one would you recommend me?
Thanks for your post
