Yes, but if you use this product to remove it, Visual Studio stops working.

These registry entrie are part of Microsoft Visual Studio and are nothing to do with ISTbar/Powerscan.

You NEED to have Ad-Aware 6 and Spybot 1.3 installed. Try System Mechanic too, works great.

Not sure where you got these, but I think they are false hits. If you look at the data underneath the typelib entry, at least on my system, it shows D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\Tools\APE\REGTOOL5.DLL. Also the guid used does not appear in any manual uninstall of ISTbar (see http://pestpatrol.com/ms/pestinfo/i/istbar.asp for more info.)

try installing and running Lavasoft Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D. I have both on my PC and between them they catch mostly everything. Spybot is free and Ad-aware has a free version.

I have detected some parasite(name: ISTbar/Powerscan) reside in my registry key :
1) HKLM\Software\Classes\Typelib\{1bcd446e-7095-11d0-9c4e-00aa00bdd685}
2) HKLM\Software\Classes\Interface\{1bcd446b-7095-11d0-9c4e-00aa00bdd685}
3) HKLM\Software\Classes\clsid\{1bcd446c-7095-11d0-9c4e-00aa00bdd685}

Can someone please tell me how to remove them?? Thanks a lot...
