Imagine what the songs will become, like N'Sync's 'Could it be You' will go like.....
"...Could it be you I've been googling so hard to find
Tell me how could I have been so blind..."

Or Ashanti's Happy:
"...All my life I've been googling for you, everyday, so glad
that I found you boy..."

LOL!
Yah I agree, Will. It's about darn time google becomes a verb. I've been using it for years and I always felt bad typing it in reports and offficial papers. Now my fears of being docked for making up a word can finally be laid to rest.

Are they really going to put it in Webster's? People in the computer community (and even some who aren't) have been using the word "google" as a verb. It's nice to see them making an official change. It will make it a lot easier when some teacher asks where I got something and I can just say, "I googled it, duh".

I'm going to go google about "google" being a verb right now.

"Monty Python's Googling for the Holy Grail"
Or a tropical movie!
"Googling for Paradise"
PS Like this porno title: "She's Googling to Fondle a Dongle" (more like a nerd porn... It'd star Asia Carrera building computers and maintaining her website [which she personally does!])

in my class tonight (its an advanced business com class) my teacher was telling us that google was nominated as "Word of the year" and is being put in Webstar's dictionary next year as a verb. it's definition will be "To Search" (or something like that) so if all you college students want to use Google in a paper, now u can without having it being a gramatical error.
Ex: "Billy went searching for his bike" will now become; "Billy went googling for his bike."
