Hi Everyone!.......and Roy how are you?...are you still around?????

It's been a while! As I was browsing and came across my past post about my BSOD problems, well I did send my mobo back and they changed the lan card adapter on my mobo. And I am using my Broadcom lan card instead of the other one and I haven't since had any problems. My mobo is a P4G8X Deluxe. Those boards had faulty lan card adapters.

hey all-
i thought id just share my good news to this problem. my comp did this to me this morning and i just got around to looking at it. i looked online for about 5 minutes and then went back to the comp and tried to fix it. i tired 2 or 3 things before i found the solution. what it was, was the video card i installed last night. i read something about it happening alot with new vid cards and not being able to get the driver to work with the vid card or something. so i took out the vid card, started the comp up, and it works fine again! so if youve recently installed a vid card, try to remove and see if it will boot up.
The BSOD that was reported for uhcd.sys has there been a solution to this. Is it a motherboard issue at all?
I somewhat have my problem solved, even though it isn't what I am looking for.

For the time being, I have disabled my BroadCom LAN adapter and added another ethernet LAN card 10/100.

Ever since, I have not had one single BSOD!
Sherry can you give me your system specs.? This will help a great deal .Then if you don`t mind give me a link where I can find the manual for your mobo? I can read about your system and see what you have in bios, then maybe help you out .It looks like you are running some aggressive settings in bios as of now.If you will do this I will try to help you out.It will be something simple !! When I was setting mine up it done that a few times, and it was in my bios memory timings ,they were too aggressive.

Hi Evolkid,

My lan card is on my motherboard.

I really appreciate all of these sites you have supplied. And I thank you so much for taking out the time in helping me. I have only been to one site so far that I found off from your google search.

That site is so interesting!....along with plenty of information...lol

Thanks Evolkid!!!...
As I continue to try and figure out my problem; if I do and find out my answer, or rather when I do; I will post it here. Then maybe it may help others from all of this chaos.

Unless someone who knows about debugging windows comes around it looks like you have to use the process of elimination to narrow down the problem. Also if you format and it is, say the lan card, then you will still get the problem.
Hi Sherry,
I just did a google search and came up with these pages.
At the top the guy tried removing and reinstalling his lan drivers, want to try that? Or have you already? Do you have an onboard lan or a pci card? Perhaps trying switching the lan card if you have a different model or even just switching pci ports. I just had the weirdest problem with a sound blaster live card that stopped working. I thought for sure it was dead, tech said try another computer before so I did and it worked?!! So I installed it back in the target system on a different slot and it works, go figure. Anyway here are the links.

Google search:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&a...sing+crash
first result:
http://www.asitis.org/archives/000019.html

Other than that testing components/drivers that may be the problem I would myself not know what to do. I suppose I should learn more about the internal workings of windows, buy why would I corrupt my mind like that?
Good Luck, keep posting maybe someone smart will come along and help!

Hi Evolkid,

A couple of messages above I have the following posted:

BSOD...states the following error message...

STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000017, 0x0000002, 0x0000001, 0xBFEC54A8) "Beginning Dump of Physical Memory"

The rest of the error message posted above:
Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL: Address BFEC54A8 @ BFEC5000, Datestamp3cdaec06-ndis.sys

I do have an HP - All-In-One Printer. I have never had problems with mine at all. I have not set it up on this computer; due to my "insanely" probable cause; from this pathectic problem of crashing.

Since I have not installed my HP Printer drivers and software on here; it indeed is not my problem.

"Ndis.sys driver is NDIS 3.0 wrapper driver" that goes to my Broadcom 5702 Lan Card and it's conflicting with the "Mrxsmb.sys driver that is Windows NT SMB Minirdriver. I'm not sure what the mrxsmb.sys driver is for and if I could get rid of it. If it is possible to rid of, I am all for it. I have updated out of this world on this problem, so therefore, it's not anything that would need to be updated.

I found out that, Asustek is having problems with the P4G8X Deluxe motherboard "Lan Adapters". Another words..."faulty adapters"....creating chaos for us. I do like my mobo, although right now...well....i'll just leave it at that; until I get this solved; or I'll just do as some others and send in a request for RMA. Then Newegg.com will ship me another one. "Dread it so much though"!!!!....

I did uninstall the critical update Q329170 that you had suggested; although no luck for me. I am still having the problems and I am cannot even stay connected to the net with my computer long at all. It just disconnects on it's own.

Thanks for your advise.

Hi All,

Just wanted to follow up to Sherry. Sherry if you notice my message about the HP D145 was about a blue screen attributed to: UHCD.sys
since your bsod (blue screen of death) is different it is probably not related... unless you have installed the HP software. I've found numerous complaints on the net about the HP all-in-one line of printers. Others have no problems. Indeed mine installs fine on a notebook... but not where I *need* it on my main workstation. If you have the hp software installed I would advise uninstalling it and seeing if you still get the bsod. Otherwise... your plan of formating/intalling sounds like a good one. I might also reccomend tracing what peripherials use the Ndis.sys - "NIC's driver" and Mrxsmb.sys and taking them out of your system and/or not installing them if that is the message your bsod is giving you. From your post you didn't mention what driver message, if any, the bsod was giving you. Good luck I know its frustrating been in windows/hp hell for the last few days.
To Sophia you didn't mention if your system is patched with the latest service pack and critical updates. Do that first and if you have already then search for problems about what driver message you are getting on your bsod. I recently found that critical update Q329170 causes an error in event viewer so I uninstalled it see this page for more or search google:
Good Luck!
