The only PCI-X cards I use on my workstations are fiber NICs.... there really isn't a need for anything else with all the integration boards are getting.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As far as SATA is concerned, anyone would tell you you're crazy if you used it and &amp;quot;workstation&amp;quot; in the same sentence.  SCSI RAID is the only way to go.  The only thing I'd probably use those SATA ports for is a big backup array.</description>

Exactly. Not many people that need more than 4GB of memory are interested in a uniprocessor P4 system. That'd be like trying to buy a Ferrari with a 100hp 4cyl engine.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Besides, 875P supports 4GB max anyway. Need to step up to E75xx if you want more.
