        <description>Yes, it only requires a simple hardware mod. If you look under the covers for the print cartridges, you will see a tab. Break off this tab, and you can use a Lexmark cartridge instead. The cartridges you will be looking for are 16 (black) and 26 (color) if you want to be able to print any reasonable ammount. If you want the same ammount of ink as was in the starter cartridges, you want 17 (black) and 27 (color)&lt;br /&gt;

The ink cartridge it came with is slowly coming to an end and &lt;a target=&quot;_blank&quot; href=&quot;/action/r/http://www.dell.com/&quot;&gt;Dell&lt;/a&gt; encourage me to purchase one for circa £20 from their website.  As I am student this seemed quite expensive I did not even print that much on it.  Does anyone know if I can get a different cartridge which will function with it anywhere else cheaper?&lt;br /&gt;
