That is not true... being compatible with X-box live and having online play are not the same thing. Being live compatible could only mean that they would be able to send extra content to players over the web such as custom maps, new skins, or operate high score scoreboards. i believe Riddick was like that i know for sure there are several games like that i just can't think of them right now... so i don't they'll really be spending THAT much time making it live compatible. As i'd hazard a guess the microsoft would distribute most of the code for basic live support like those functions i mentioned above...
at least your honest about why your grammer was all funky.. i have no excuse...
X-box 2 which would require all video games to be live compaitlity is very bad idea. You see, this will eat up good amount of times for individual video games being created for X-Box 2 development and budget. Think about it, say a team create the Hitman 6th for X-Box 2. Now this game is never intended for online game and is not made for it at all. But Microsoft will require them to do so, thefore the team would have to spend good amount of time on it, the time which could be spent on polishing the A.I system and graphic. And in the end, who is going to play the new Hitman for X-Box live when it is not made for it? Same thing apply to many of the games which will be required to be X-Box live compaility. And do you know what this mean for PS3 owners as well? It would be no problem for the same games that are made for X-Box 360 to have PS3 online as well. Oh boy, this generation, we are sure to see a declining grades in school and increase in students dropping out lol. I don't know, if you think about it carefully, to have Microsoft require all of the games to have X-Box live compaility is really a bad idea since many games are not made to be online gaming at all and it will eat up good amount of strict budget and the deadline for video games, a time that could be spent on polishing the bugs, A.I system and graphic.
