My HP P4 is just out of this 3-year this January, and they managed to replace the 20G hdd to a 40G-firmware-downgraded-to-20G in last December, when the smallest hdd on the market was some 60G or such. It didn't matter that the 1.6GHz 423-pin(!) CPU got suspicious and they brought a spare part for that too. Microsoft gets $250.00 for each copyof XP professinal that sells.
