One big one that you didn't mention was that that files are linked to your account and ONLY your account. If your installation gets infected, make a new account, transfer files and delete the old account. This is much better than the full reinstall that I have performed many times with XP due to corruption, spyware, adware and other malicious devices. Also, expandability for virtualization. Sure, Microsoft could release something that would be better for virtualization than Virtual PC and Virtual Server. But it also wouldn't chew up as much memory as the current implementations. Also, parental controls have been overhauled. The changes you can make to keep your kids from doing the wrong thing have been greatly improved. I also approve of IE-7. The tabs were easy to use and so were the favorites. It was definitely a FireFox fighter, not to mention it won't have the compatibility issues. Also, XP is more of a resource hog than Vista. Many XP implementations won't let you use more than 2 Gigs of RAM. Vista gets around this, allowing as much memory as any current consumer motherboard on the market. So does XP x64, but that is not widely implemented by consumers. My only massive complaint would be the lack of X-Fi support, which will undoubtably come shortly. Sure, Vista has it's shortcomings, but give it what it deserves.
