Are you trying to get everyone access. Go to control panel / local security policy / Security options. Check out the Network Access section. Also check out User Rights Assignment area. I'm sorry but I really don't know what half that stuff in there means. You can take ownership of the entire drive, but it would be best for security reasons to pick and choose the shareable folders.You might have to take ownership as an individual, before it will allow you to reset permissions for a group.
