(Vista Home Premium SP1 on a new Toshiba laptop - T2370, 2Gb)<br /> <br /> The problems are significantly reduced since installing SP1, but still drive me bats. I have a reference system which I keep loaded with XP SP3 in 'exactly' the same configuration including software and browsing history. <br /> <br /> Relative to Vista, XP runs flawlessly (not perfectly). A the moment I am trying to isolate a very annoying case of Vista deciding to 'pause' frequently in the middle of typing in browsers, word processing, even notepad. I'll sort it out eventually, but in the meantime my XP box just sits there thinking snide remarks about its Vista big brother. <br /> <br /> Microsoft needs much more than Jerry Seinfield or a really hokey 'blind user experience' test (Mojave) to 'fix' Vista.
