There's a Facebook group based around that. I try to play it once a week, donate a good lot of rice to the cause. I vote yes.
I've read about an Ad a long time ago, that supposedly gives rice to some countries when you click it. It was only one click, no registration needed and you give free rice to the poor countries or something like that. Now I think that's beneficial even though most ppl are against ad's here but this I find to be a good deed for others.

I think this is it:

http://www.freerice.com/

Is very easy. It tests your vocabulary and for every word you have right you donate 20 grains of rice to the unfortunate.

That should be a simple fix. Add an option to sticky something on the Latest topics
There is a bug with the current stickied threads. The bug is that you cant specify where it will be tagged at. For instance, say we wanted to put the Official Windows Vista Tweak thread on the Vista subforum. In order for us to do that and keep it off the front page, we have to lock it. Locked stickies do not appear on the front page. So to keep the current stickies stuck on the front page for all to see and post in, we have to keep it unlocked or not stickied at all. Then it gets buried in the forums. It is a known issue that is being worked on to be resolved.

How about a tag to let us post stuff (links, etc) that can only be seen by logged-in members? I've used that on other forums and always liked it.

Suggestions

I think that there should be fewer stickies at the top of the Latest Topics. With the exception of this thread, and the 'Hardware Analysis Prejudice and Discrimination Policy', I think most of the current stickies should be in the FAQ, so perhaps we could have a link to the FAQ forum stickied there instead, or even a sidebar with the current stickies on it?

Additionally, I think the FAQ should be locked, and then tidied up (happy to look at doing this myself, if nobody else is interested in doing it) so that it ONLY contains pure FAQ topics, and not requests for help and further posts about FAQs, etc. Then, perhaps, we should have a 'Suggestions for FAQs' section, perhaps only viewable to registered members(?) where any member who's spotted a recurring topic can submit and/or suggest a FAQ. I was wondering if it might not be better to have the FAQ section similar to the articles section, if you see what I mean, so that people can make comments on the FAQ articles, rather than add posts to the FAQs themselves, turning them into pages and pages of rambling that nobody has time to read.

Exactly where you don't look for it (which is why I missed it). Could it not be moved to a better location? I think "About Us" should not be it's own mini-category. It should be a simple link just under "Community" in the "Contents" mini-category which, when clicked, breaks into a page like Community or Forums where you can select which you want to see. Easy to find and clutter free.
