I format &amp; install Windows XP Pro 5 times a year. Just for the hell of it. It keeps your harddrive in super working order. It takes about 8 hours to install XP and at least 2 minutes to boot into XP after its installed. I RMA'd the mobo and I received a call today that it works fine and they are sending it back to me. It was not tested with a barton 2500. I tried both 100 and 166 settings in the bios before sending it in, and it made no difference. Any suggestions? Which I am not!! My system specs are asus a7v8x-mx mobo amd xp 2500+ windows xp 2 hd one 80g and 6g. 512 cruicial pc2700. I just thought that this was suppose to run atleast 2000. I have been reading about some people going as high as 3000 so why can't I get my to run at least stock speed!!!! If you need any other info just let me know.
