This is why I will spend the $75.00 extra for a 8800 GT SSC 700/2000 over the default 600/1800. I expect ill still get a small OC on the ssc edition but i will always have the 700/2000 no matter what. From what i can see i expect a 750 2100 OC thats a 90% chance of getting that. 50% chance 800/2200. Just remember temps and cooling are everything. If you think for a second a 60c to 65c temp will run a 20% overclock stable YOUR WRONG. Please dont repeat the tolerance temps to me thats @ stock not overclocked. <br /> <br /> One other thing. according to a local suppler I use here,PC CLUB They where asked to send back 14 of there EVGA and XFX 8800 GT ko,oc,ssc models and guaranteed full replacements to be sent back by no later then 11,21,07. Word has it , for reasons of faulty cooling. Remakes of on board coolers are said to be 100% fully shined copper with a added 20% fan speeds and added 2 ports for air flow. Like I stated before the factory does put a lot of work into finding the GPU's that are capable of the higher speeds and of course not all are able to overclock to such a degree.
