Maturity as in childish behavior is not the word I would use, however being outgunned and out marketed by Intel is more accurate. AMD made some rookie mistakes
1. They only plan about 6 months to 1 year in the future, when they were on top they should have propelled immeditaly to where they are now, then.
2. They finally got the Dell contract after bad mouthing them for a few years, but it screwed their independant system builders because Dell under cut the sysbuilders cost on a global scale, putting their best advertisers out of business.
3. When Intel started their duo core cpu's they also started a marketing ploy called tick, tock, meaning that when AMD hits the market with something new they either tich to the next generation or tock with a brand new core. So far they only ticked with gen II quad and cores.

I still like AMD becausse their cpu's run cool and they donot disperse the heat to the motherboard but when I need to go fast its Intel.

That's a very good point. Why does AMD try to influence the press especially when they know the product is dismal? They even go as far as try to screen the press for bad publicity. The smart thing to do is to hide in a corner and come up with a contingency plan. It's never smart to flail your arms about and make a scene just to get shot for crying "wolf" too many times. It really demonstrates AMD's level of maturity (or lack of).
