The version of the software that came on the disk was 1.02 and Logitech has 2.02 on their website so I'll try the new one and see if it's better. Haven't had any issues with software that came with it yet, but maybe the new one is better anyway.

Yes, USB ports on the keyboard is version 1.1. As for the LCD, first there is a G15 LCD SDK if you want to experiment. If not, yes, fraps looks cool, but I use Everest to monitor temp, disk/cpu/ram usage, speed, etc. Very handy. And why the mouse doesn't work... hmm... Try installing the drivers again, but prior to that, disconnect the KB. After the driver installation is done, connect back the mouse and only then the keyboard. See if that helps.

Oh I'll have to try that, is it built into fraps like Xfire is? Xfire messages started coming up on the display as soon as I opened Xfire, I was quite surprised. I thought I'd have to download something to make it work on the G15.

Oh never mind I figured it out, it was an option in the Logitech software that was checked by default.

What programs do you guys recommend downloading for the G15's LCD screen? What are the most useful ones?

Those USB ports on the G11 and G15 are USB 1.1. Unless the newer models are 2.0.

I wouldn't use the USB on the keyboard. I not really researched it, but i don't think
the USB ports are even USB 2.0? Maybe they are i dunno. But i've never used them.

That little button with the monitor & joystick icons is an option where if you set to
joystick, it cancels the "windows" key on your keyboard. Quite annoying if you
accidently press the windows key during a game. My mate has the G15, he says the
LCD is only used for online multi gaming - don't know if that helps??
