Reason said:
I like the look of it, I think clear cases look cool. Does it light up? I've never wanted a clear case though cuz I would scratch the hell out of it and let it get dusty and fingerprinty.

Those are things I'd have problems with, too. Plus, I'm wondering how safe they are for the electronics re: Electro-Static Discharge (ESD)?

If they don't include a conductive polymer in the plastic, I'd think ESD could be a real problem.

Anyone ever heard/read about ESD studies and data with these cases? (sure wish I had access to my old lab)

The specs are less than admirable. I cant afford much so i upgrade a little when i see a deal.

Pentium D 940 3.2 (overclocked to 3.4 Ghz) with Scythe katana heatsink (32C idle 40C with moderate load)
Biostar 945P Chipset mobo
ULTRA X-Connect 500W modular power supply. They had it on clearance cause its only 20 pin. fixed that with a 5 dollar adapter. (i know, i know, say what you want it was 30 bucks and it really is a good product)
2GB of PQI DDR2 667 4-4-4-12 (not bad for 50-60 bucks)
geforce 8600GT 540/700 overclocked to 630/910 with zalman afterstock cooler. (keeps it at 40C idle)
1 80GB SATA 3GB/s
1 160GB SATA 3GB/s
1 250 USB external (WD mybook)
Creative sound blaster live 24 bit external soundcard for switching between audio systems.
a 5.1 (now fully shown) around my computer and a 5.1 (not shown at all) that surrounds the room that i switch between.
A crap LITE-ON DVD-RW drive. (don't buy them, spend an extra 10 bucks on something better)
I put in all after-market fans so the thing is whisper quiet. In Newegg's advanced search (I love the egg) I matched the highest Cubic-Feet per-minute up with the lowest decibel rating for all the fans. I sleeved mostly all cables with matching color and got rid of as much clutter as i could. This is my first (stylish) customization project I've ever done. Ive built many for performance but this is for looks and a little balls. Thanks a lot for the interest!

For accurate video card comparison, go to gpureview.com it has voodoo all the way to 8800 with full specs mapped out by manufacturer and has overclocking simulations. I always review that site before buying a card.

Well evidently these pictures were not taken at the same time. The first one has a lot more orange cableing going on and is starting to look a bit cluttered. Nice acrylic case though, and it appears you have plenty of air movement and fan control.
My question is what's in the "black monolith" sitting next to it?
Oh, and "Big Brother is Watching".
