In case the PS3 fails to connect due to a DNS server error (it does this a lot) then u need to enter 3rd party DNS servers.... The modem does not have any ethernet ports in it. Whenever I want to connect to Xbox Live I need to run a long ethernet cable upstairs and into the network card in my PC. This is fine, but its hardly ideal. Its just that I cannot justify paying over £50 for a wireless connector for my Xbox 360. <br /> <br /> But the PS3 is wireless as standard and I would like to make use of this.<br /> <br /> I know I will need a router, but will I also need a new modem? Or should I just get a modem/router combo and do away with my current ADSL BT USB modem?
