Sweet, nice montior.

Now with a screen with that res you can experience really what SLI has to offer.

Enjoy!

For some reason I have nothing but trouble with x-fi and vista 64 sp1... so I dumped x-fi for now and am using the supreme fx (on board sound). I have space for another gtx, but won't bother. As I mentioned somewhere, I'm running
NFS pro street 1920x1200 8x AA at 45fps avg
DiRT 2500x1600 very high, 4x AA at 40fps avg
Crysis dx10, vista 64, very high 1680x1080 8x AA, 16xAF at 30fps avg

I think I have the same setup...and unfortunately the same problem I have an nforce 780i with two gtx's and an extreme music x-fi card and the 305t. was curious of buying a third gtx but the same problem...no room. the mobo though has something called "hd audio" and was wondering if that's as good or even better then x-fi i.e. I could buy a reciever and have a better connection with an optic hook up with 7.1 or stick with the x-fi and a 5.1 setup. but if it's the same quality I might as well take advantage of a third...just hate to leave behind such a wonderful soundcard.

Oh my... the new toy is fantastish... ))) I literally have to turn my head to go from start (low left) to close X (up right)... you kinda dive into virtual world. Came to work next day and my 19" seemed just a bit bigger than my pda screen... lol. )))

Dr. Peaceful said:
My mon pivots, swivels, tilt and height adjustable. I assume yours can do the same. How many and what type of ports in the back?

BTW, that must be one long table you got there, 26" + 30" mons. If I put those in mine, one is going to fall on the floor. LOL

Yes, my mon is very flex too in rotating 180degrees (left-right) and very powerful height adjustment mechanism - it is very easy to lift such a weight and fix in that position.
At the back it hass 4 usb ports, and dvi. It's funny, on front I see only power button and brightness adjustment... no menu buttons... maybe its done via software?!

Oh yeah, the desk is huge... bought a whole set (star 5000 executive desk/credenza/hutch) from staples... that was pricey.

Meats of Evil said:
Looks incredible, now all you need o do is add a blu-ray drive and another 8800gtx and you'll be set for the HD extravaganza!

another 8800gtx??? I can't do triple SLI because then my x-fi fatality will not fit... 2 of my monsters already occupy pretty much the whole space in the case.

Anyways, now I'm just trying to figure out why nibitor doesn't recognize my gpu bios... I want to update it as well as run a higher OC, but for some reason it gives my driver error 1275... i will keep looking.
Very nice monitor setup you got there, I remember when I thought my 20" was big. Shortly after, it seemed everyone was getting 20" and larger monitors. Personally I'd really love to have dual 24" Widescreen LCDs of the exact same make and model.

I have the smaller cousin of your mon, the 204B, 1600x1200 res, decent enough for me. My mon pivots, swivels, tilt and height adjustable. I assume yours can do the same.
Congratulations!, I still do not understand the need of such a big monitor. Since, we sit so close to the monitor, initially I wanted to possess a big monitor too, but then I released it would not be a good idea. I think 20"-24" is more than sufficient, but may be that is only me.

However -- Are you patronizing 8800GTX and boxes or the monitor?

All of a sudden, I realized that my good-ol acer 26" wasn't big enough for me, so I went out and got myself a Samsung SyncMaster 305T 30in Monitor.
What can I say... the thing is a beaut... Everything is made just so perfect, elegant and of the highest quality.
Oh and 2560x1600 resolution is amazing!
Here are some pix:

In comparison with Acer AL2616WD 26"
http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t203/__MD__/Samsung%20305T/...305T_1.jpg

P.S. While I was in the store, I got myself another 8800GTX and Razer Lachesis™ Gaming Mouse.
