Phones will do everything we need, plug in a headset and you can plan any game you want.

Also, plug into a virtual seat at your favourite bands concert that's on the other side of the world.

Kieran, that'll defo NEVER take off. Phones are doin pretty much that already. Apart
from the Virtual Gig lol which would never take off either. That theory was on the go
when the internet got global and was obtainable everywhere. All of a sudden, we'd never
have to leave our living rooms for shopping, or what ever. Eventually the streets will
be empty cos everyone's doing their electronic shopping,or sitting on the toilet
takin a dump whilst they are at a virtual gig on their Nokia Nanoo 8989A mobile lol.

The element of going to a live gig, or the the shopping, the smells, the socialising
will never be replaced by Virtual. Thank fook! Am not havin a dig at you Kieran, just
the subject you broughtup that's all . I thought it was a good cue to comment about
the virtual reality thing.. it's so 80's.

Photons make up all forms of electromagnetic radiation (including light). Photons have some properties of waves and some properties of particles. Photons are unique in that way. Therefore, if a photon processor is produced, it will operate at the edge of current, physics knowledge. Maybe there is something that moves faster than photons in a vacuum but I'll be long dead before it really matters.

PS. Light is the fastest thing known to man. Apparently either the Japanese or Chinese have discovered something faster than light but they do not actually know what it is.

Micro processors need to move away from the binary system. Until that happens, it will pretty much remain twists on the same old story. I find the concept of photon processors quite intriguing which, Intel has been researching. Photon processors can operating in the terahertz with ease.

Ah i seen that too. That was a test done if the heatsink fan failed. That's not when
overclocking. Heat in the future will be resolved, they'll have nano tech incorporated
into the chips with liquid cooling. Oh the future's bright!!!!!!! hehe

Also, I have seen AMD's burn up when they get too hot and Intel hardly produce smoke.
My last AMD fried up like mad. Processors of the future.

WHAT about reliability and put temperature in the picture too.

So what are you thinking? Designs of the future. Put's it into perspective. Data goes from the HD to and fro a couple of times before it gets to the processor. If you can cut down all that, you increase performance.
