Aye, but he's not using the potential of his ram tho. He needs to get that ram ramped
right up for higher score!

As I found out, high freq of my RAM (1266mhz) doesn't really have any effect on the overall performance. I need higher FSB to get my RAM speeds beyond 11000mb/s... I can't get high FSB on my board because NB temps skyrocket and system overheats. Instead, I just increase the multi on the CPU. In any case, I want to compare the Hxxxx scores... anybody?

Benchmarked these weekends:

CPU: 4.0GHz
RAM: 1000mhz
GPU1: 640/1000/1480
GPU2: 620/1000/1433

Score: H7392
GPU: 6784
CPU 15007

CPU: 4.5GHz
RAM: 1100mhz (4-4-4-12)
GPU1: 654/1008/1512
GPU2: 654/1008/1512

Score: H7666
GPU: 6980
CPU 17194

I'm sure I can pull off H8000 if I do 4.7GHz cpu overclock and 666 gpu... but didn't have time to play around...
let's hear out the Hxxxx scores everybody!

benchmarks are your very own games.

Crysis DX9 XP had sunshafts taken away, and just kept for DX10
version. It's a completely different API. It's just not possible. You can access the sunshafts
which is DX9 and implement it into the config file. Shader 4.0 can not be cracked or
modded for DX9 cards. You just can't backward engineer ShaderModel 4.0 to 3.0.

Halo 2 is not even DX10. It's DX9. So technically it should run on either. And that ShadowRun
what a horrible game that was! lol

Eh no Brenden! DX10 is only on Vista. And will only work on Vista. It clearly states
that's it's not compatable with XP. That's from the horses mouth. But you still think you
can run on XP?! I just don't get that??

Sometimes apps which claim to need DX10 really don't. Take Crysis (Very High on XP) and several "Vista Only" games such as Halo 2 and Shadowrun.
