I would try using the Southbridge SATA300 ports for RAID 0. And use the MarvellŪ 6121 and 6111 SATA controller for just plain old storage. This is practically a brand new motherboard, just came out months ago, so you really shouldn't be having problems with it IMO. Contact Asus tech support and also look on the ASUS website for SATA300 driver updates.

ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=1751&a...1&l4=0

I got the Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6 motherboard with no problems with the 2 x GIGABYTE SATA300 RAID chips on board but then again they are not made by MarvellŪ.:/
Check your BIOS settings and make sure they are correct. You really shouldn't have a problem with 2 of your WD5000AAKS hard drives in a RAID 0 array. You do have two of them right?

----

Both hard drives and SATA cabels is ok.

This is a SATA port problem when Marvell 6121 RAID mode is enabled. IDE mode works fine.

Problem is SATA port (Bus Number 0, Target ID 0, LUN 0) when Marvell 6121 RAID mode is enabled and 2nd port works fine. I can't format hard drive when it connected to problem port 0,0,0 and same problem ruin raid array too.
