I did a few Google searches and several companies list it as being compatible. This one lists Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu CPU FAN socket 478 A 754 939 940
http://www.expresspcparts.com.au/Items/fan-115-alt-cnps7000b-a...0939%20940

So does Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-CNPS7000B-Cu-Copper-Cooler-Socket...B00032CWPQ

ZALMAN CNPS7000B Compatibility question

I have an old ZALMAN CNPS7000B in my system cooling a Athlon 3700. I'm going to be putting in a Athlon X2 4800. Under compatibilities the ZALMAN CNPS7000B does not list the Athlon X2 939 line. I'd like to think my heatsink will be okay, my reasoning is that the heatsink was made before the X2 line of processors and they just never updated the compatibilities page. What are you thoughts?
