        <description>Yeah, it's easier to do in Windows XP Pro since you can disable the Simple File Sharing. RIght click over the folder you would like to take over and go to Properties. Then in the sharing tab look for security, then advanced, then go to the Owner tab. Select yourself and make sure you check the box below like you see here (Replace owner on subcontainers and objects):&lt;br /&gt;

        <description>I did find a work around ie the settingsin the security tab - however it seems ya gotta clear every single file before they open properly - bugger that... i asked for the passwords&lt;br /&gt;

        <description>I've had to remove a h'drive for a customer to get at the data to save it, but one of the users is password protected.....so when looking at this drive in explorer, I get a &amp;quot;...not accessible - access denied&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;
this is a common scenario and wondered if there was a work around - other than going back to the customer and saying &amp;quot;oy !! plonker, whats ur p/words !!&amp;quot; LOL</description>
