        <description>Most people will not need all the performance that the new I7 Intel chips brings, but salespersons are definitely going to try to convince people to buy this and so they will, regardless if they need it or not.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Compiling up A LOT of source code with Linux sure utilizes a fast cpu, so in this case: even this new I7 chip from Intel won't be enough.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I'm more interested in the progress which is being done with AMD myself. Maybe there will be an article here on Hardware Analysis later on which goes through the new AMD Deneb cores which will be released in the beginning of the next year?</description>

Ever heard of ‘progress? A few years ago I guess a 386 was fare to powerful for those 10%.
