I got a very similar problem
got the same board, with a GeForce 2 GTS Pro, and DDR RAM, dont know about spped, guess its 133 cause it was once of the first DDRAM, anyway, I bought a AMD Duron 1800, and it shows up only 1350
I ve seen there are new bios updates available at ECS, just cant download them, it seems they just working on the new, site

has anyone found a solution till now ?

i just want you to know that i have the same mother board and the same processor. i have 512mb pc 133mhz ddr ram. when i first booted up that comp it worked great. everything went well. i had a pci graphics card in at the time. i recently switched over to a geforce 2 mx 400 agp 64 meg. i booted up, 2 minutes into it, it froze. the only thing that i could do to make it not freeze up is too change that 133mhx/133mhz down to 100mhz/100mhz. onyl problem with this is it says i know have an athlon or durron at 1.1ghz. i cant find out the fix too this problem any help would be greatly appreciated.

also i was reading in the ecs site that this board doesnt accept agp pro graphics cards. maybe this could be the problem. but whatever it is it has to do with ram and graphics cards.

i had the exact same problem and sorted it simply,
change to DDR instead of SD and then go into your BIOS and set accordingly

The bios is defaulted to 100/100 for bus and memory speeds. I have 256 pc 133 memory and a XP 1700+. You need to set the memory and bus speeds to 133/133 in the bios for the CPU to post correctly. You do not need DDR memory to get the full speed of the processor.

I'm not sure how it works, so someone correct me if I'm wrong. But to get the full speed out of your processor (1463 Mhz) you need to buy DDR ram. But I could be wrong.

Is it only seeing it at 1.1 when the bios is set to 133/133? If so, what is it seeing it at when it is set to 100/100?

Go into your bios setting and change the RAM speed to 133/133.
That will get it to the right speed.

Why does my mobo only see my CPU as 1.1ghz instead of the actual speed and AthlonXP1700? I've tried changing bios settings and still no luck. I have a ATI all in wonder 128Pro Agp card, with 128mb PC133 SDRAM. Any ideas guys? Any help will be grateful thanks.
