My BIOS has None against the Primary Master. I put in the details of my HDD and Save, but on re-entering the set up I find it back to None again. I set it up in bios with AUTO . everything is good. I installed win98 and so far so good... When I reboot all is good.. When I sut the power down completly I lose the drive configuration in the bios.. and I have to set up the hard disk all over.
